Pricing & Payment

How much does tire disposal cost?

Pricing depends on tire type: Passenger tires start at $4.00 each, light truck tires at $6.00, pickup tires (33"/35") at $7.00, semi tires at $22.00, and super singles at $44.00. Small farm tractor tires are $40.00 each. OTR and large equipment tires are quoted individually. There is a $25 environmental/compliance fee per transaction. Volume discounts are available for recurring accounts. These rates apply consistently across SC, NC, GA, and PA.

Do you offer bulk or volume pricing?

Yes. Recurring accounts with consistent monthly volume qualify for discounted rates. Bulk roll-off pricing is available at $225/ton with a 10-ton minimum within 50 miles. Call Jack at 717-577-6648 to discuss your volume and get a custom quote.

What is the environmental/compliance fee?

The $25 environmental/compliance fee is charged per transaction (per pickup). It covers manifest documentation, DHEC compliance reporting, and responsible end-market disposal verification.

Is pricing subject to change?

Yes. Pricing is subject to change without notice based on market conditions, fuel costs, and disposal costs. Current pricing is always available on our pricing page or by calling 717-577-6648.

Compliance & Regulations

What is a waste tire manifest?

A waste tire manifest is a legal document that tracks waste tires from the point of pickup (generator) to the final destination (processor). It records the generator's name and address, hauler's name and DHEC permit number, tire count and type, date of pickup, and destination facility. South Carolina law requires a manifest on every load of waste tires. Keep your copies for at least 3 years.

What is the 500-tire storage limit?

Under SC DHEC Regulation 61-107.3, most businesses are limited to storing no more than 500 waste tires on-site at any time without additional permitting. Exceeding this limit can result in DHEC violations and fines up to $10,000 per day. Regular scheduled pickups keep you under the limit.

What happens if I use an unregistered hauler?

If you use an unregistered hauler and those tires end up illegally dumped, your business can still be held liable โ€” even though you paid someone to take them. Always verify your hauler's SC DHEC registration number before they pick up your tires. Eco Tire Solutions is registered under Permit #WTH000541.

What are the penalties for illegal tire dumping in SC?

Illegal tire dumping in South Carolina carries civil penalties up to $10,000 per day for violations, potential criminal charges for willful violations, cleanup costs charged back to the responsible party, and possible loss of business licenses. Using a registered hauler with proper manifests protects your business.

Services & Tire Types

What tire types do you accept?

We accept all tire types: tubes, lawn mower tires, golf cart tires, ATV tires, motorcycle tires, passenger tires, light truck tires, pickup tires, semi tires, super singles, farm tractor tires, OTR/large equipment tires, and mixed loads.

Do you offer on-site shredding?

Yes. We bring our portable shredder to your location, shred the tires in place, and haul the chips away. This is ideal for large tire stockpiles at landfills, properties with illegal dumps, and cleanup projects where moving whole tires is impractical.

Can you clean up illegal tire dump sites?

Absolutely. We specialize in illegal dump cleanup for property owners, municipalities, and environmental agencies. We handle the full process โ€” tire removal, on-site shredding if needed, hauling, documentation, and compliant disposal. Contact us for a free cleanup quote.

Do you serve landfills and transfer stations?

Yes. We partner with landfills and transfer stations to provide scheduled and on-demand tire removal. We reduce your liability, free up airspace, and provide full DHEC-compliant documentation including annual reporting support.

What happens to the tires after you pick them up?

Every tire we collect is recycled into useful products โ€” Tire-Derived Fuel (TDF) for cement kilns, crumb rubber for playgrounds and sports turf, rubber mulch for landscaping, and recovered steel. Nothing is re-dumped, burned, or sent to developing countries.

Do you serve residential customers?

Yes, but our minimum pickup is 50 tires or $200. For homeowners with just a few tires, we recommend checking with your county's solid waste department for upcoming tire collection events, or dropping tires off at a local tire retailer for a small fee.
