Cost by Service Type

The type of service you need also affects total cost. Here's how different service types compare:

Scheduled Pickup

Best for: Tire shops, auto dealers, fleets

The most cost-effective option for businesses. You pay per tire plus the $25 environmental fee. Volume discounts available for recurring accounts.

On-Demand Pickup

Best for: Property owners, one-time cleanouts

Same per-tire pricing as scheduled pickup, but without the recurring discount. Minimum 50 tires or $200 minimum charge applies.

Bulk Roll-Off

Best for: Landfills, large cleanup projects

For large volumes, bulk pricing is available at $225/ton with a 10-ton minimum within 50 miles. This is often the most economical option for large tire piles.

On-Site Shredding

Best for: Landfills, large properties, municipalities

Priced per tire or per ton depending on volume. Includes mobilization, shredding, and chip hauling. Best for large stockpiles where moving whole tires is impractical.

Cleanup Projects

Best for: Illegal dump sites, abandoned properties

Custom quoted based on tire count, site access, tire types, and disposal requirements. Full-service cleanup including excavation, shredding, and documentation.

What Affects the Total Cost

Tire Type

Larger tires cost more per unit. Semi and OTR tires are significantly more expensive than passenger tires.

Volume

Higher volume = lower per-tire cost. Recurring accounts with consistent volume qualify for bulk pricing.

Distance

Pickups within our primary service area are priced at standard rates. Extended distances may include a travel surcharge.

Site Access

Easy access (paved lot, ground level) = standard pricing. Difficult access (mud, steep terrain, buried tires) may add to the cost.

Tire Condition

Whole tires vs. shredded vs. baled affects processing costs. Tires with rims may cost more.

Urgency

Standard scheduling is most cost-effective. Rush or emergency pickups may carry a premium.

How to Get the Best Price

  • 1. Set up recurring service โ€” the more consistent your volume, the better your rate.
  • 2. Batch your tires โ€” don't call for 10 tires when you can wait and call for 100.
  • 3. Stay within the service area โ€” pickups within our primary coverage zone get standard pricing.
  • 4. Call directly โ€” Jack can often work with you on pricing for large or recurring accounts.
